Senior JDE Manufacturing Consultant
ERP Suites is seeking a highly skilled Senior JDE Manufacturing Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive consulting experience and strong business analytical skills to gather and document business requirements, lead troubleshooting efforts, perform functional configuration, and support upgrades.
You should have a proven track record of guiding clients through business process improvements, resolving day-to-day operational challenges, and developing strategic roadmaps for success.

Prior experience leading or managing consulting projects is key. Strong interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and communication skills are required, along with a commitment to exceeding performance expectations. Location:
· Our home office is based in Cincinnati, OH. However, we are open to hiring someone who is fully remote regardless of location.
· Although the position is fully remote, there may be occasional travel required based on job needs.
Responsibilities:
Consulting and Advisory:
- lead the full implementation lifecycle of the JDE manufacturing modules from planning and design through to build, test, deployment, and support. Modules include PDM, planning (DRP, MPS, MRP), scheduling, capacity, inventory, work orders, quality, shop floor, data collection, labeling, pick/pack/ship, intra- and inter-company processing, maintenance, manufacturing accounting, variance reporting, and financial integration.
- The consultant will be responsible for facilitating and orchestrating client business requirements, design, business process design workshops, and functionality demos during up front client engagement of plan and design phases.
- Collaborate closely with both client and internal project teams on data conversion, configuration, design, and testing during the build, test, and deployment phases.
- Leverage prior experience, having led 2+ full end-to-end JDE implementations, to provide expert consulting and advisory services to clients on business operations, transformations, and solving business problems related to JDE ERP.
- Act as a subject matter expert in JDE planning, manufacturing, and quality modules, with a strong understanding of integration points between modules.
- Leverage deep ERP plant operations expertise to assist clients with PDM, planning, scheduling, capacity management, inventory, work orders, and other manufacturing-related processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve client issues, performing system research, maintenance, configuration, and testing.
- Work collaboratively with client teams to identify and implement system optimizations, as well as support upgrade activities through configuration, testing, and end-user training.
- Proactively suggest process improvements and document common issues to streamline support and reduce future service requests
- Refine customer requirements in detail, document, and present to the client for approval.
- Act as a liaison with Oracle to resolve service requests, ensuring smooth system operation.
- Participate in continuous learning through team training to stay updated on JD Edwards functionality.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field.
- At least 7 to 15 years of related work experience in JD Edwards in a similar consulting practice or function servicing cross-industry clients.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for effectively engaging with clients and teams.
- Experience with Enterprise Application Integration.
- Proven leadership in conducting client meetings, writing functional specifications, and managing development teams. Experience in guiding clients through current state assessments and defining future state processes aligned with business objectives.
- Experience in configuring, setting up, and implementing Oracle - JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) manufacturing (preferably versions 9.2 to Release 23)
- Required at least two full implementation and support experience with multiple site configuration
- Preferred experience with program leadership, governance, and change enablement
- Mentor junior team members

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with BI Publisher, and other third-party software.
- Familiarity with SQL.
- Familiarity with reporting tools
- Familiarity with design – Menus, UXone UDO – (like Watchlist, E1 Pages, Orchestrator solutions, Cafe One, Composite Pages, Advanced queries), BIP Output, E1 Batch application, E1 Interactive Applications.
- Familiarity with consulting and advisory for JDE Manufacturing cross-industry.
- Working independently providing JDE manufacturing business advisory.
